Vincent Merouze

Choreographer | Dance Educator | Movement Artist

Vincent Merouze is a London-based dance artist whose evolving choreographic voice is shaped by over 15 years of experience in performance, education, and movement exploration across Australia, New York City, and the UK. From performing with the Royal Opera House across multiple seasons to teaching weekly classes at the iconic Pineapple Dance Studios, Vincent’s path has been one of dedication, curiosity, and a deepening desire to create meaningful connection through movement.

His journey began with a love for dance and a willingness to step into a range of roles, from cheer competitions in Australia to professional stages and grassroots flash mobs in public spaces. These diverse experiences have grounded Vincent’s approach to choreography in authenticity and human emotion. Rather than spectacle for its own sake, he is drawn to work that tells stories, reveals vulnerability, and fosters shared experience.

Vincent has been fortunate to see his choreography recognised in national and international competitions, with several 1st place awards in contemporary and commercial styles across the UK between 2019 and 2025. But it is in the studio, teaching, learning, and collaborating, that he finds his deepest sense of purpose. His teaching practice is fueled by a belief that dance is for everyone and that each body has a story worth expressing.

With a background in Pilates, a foundation in both classical and commercial dance, and a passion for empowering others through movement, Vincent is steadily building a choreographic practice rooted in connection, empathy, and the courage to evolve.
